Nu in de studio: een muziekmobiel voor een nieuw neefje of nichtje. Ik maak er drie, er komen er twee in de shop

The Shop

De eerste kussenhoezen zijn in de kidsshop! De rest volgt snel..

Only one plant

De tuin is stoffig en leeg, de schutting staat en de enige plant met bloemen krijgt alle aandacht!

Verder: de afgelopen weken druk bezig met alle teksten voor de shop. Bijna klaar, nu echt! Daar zit meer werk in dan lijkt.

oh, en toegegeven; ik moest ook even 'uit' alle teksten - dus ben ik toch weer aan het ontwerpen en proefjes maken geweest. Dat was niet de oorspronkelijke afspraak met mezelf, maar wel weer heerlijk. Onder andere op mijn ontwerpstapeltje: etuitjes voor ditjes en datjes - geïnspireerd op enveloppen. En een muziekmobiel voor een nieuw neefje of nichtje..

The garden is dusty and empty, the fencing stands and the only plant with flowers gets loads of attention!

I spent the past few weeks writing and editing texts for the etsyshop. Almost ready, for real! It was more work than you would expect.

Oh, and I have to admit; I hád to jump out of the writing stuff - so I found myself designing and making samples for a couple of days last week. That wasn't the deal, but really needed and it felt fine.
On my designingpile: little cases for bits and bites - inspired by envelopes. And a musicmobile for a new nephew or niece..

Ik kon dit boek niet laten liggen.. Het glazuur springt van je tanden als je er naar kijkt - meestal ben ik niet zo'n koekjes/taarten bakker en neig ik eerder naar hartige taart/ pizza/ pasta/ vlees. Op wie zal ik mijn eerste probeersels uittesten? - de recepten gaan per 12 cupcakes, muffins, of per hele cake, vlaai, en bergen koekjes. hmmmmm... gelegenheden zoeken zeg ik.

I just could not resist this book.. The enamel will jump of your theeth - I would usually not go for cookies and pies. I am more of trying quiches/ pizza/ pasta/ meat for meal. So who will test my first try? The recipes are for 12 cupcakes, muffins, per cake, pie and loads of cookies. hmmmm... Searching for opportunities.

Ik had nog een paar foto's nodig van de tasjes in 'actie'. Ik had thuis in ieder tasje iets gedaan waar mijn kleine fotomodel thuis graag mee speelt. Dat maakte de fotoshoot wel erg makkelijk..

I needed some more pictures of the bags. I filled every bag with something my little model likes to play with. It made the photoshoot  very easy..

Shame on me! Het is hier veel te lang stil geweest.. De productfoto's zijn grootendeels genomen, en meer inspiratie dwarrelt door mijn hoofd,  maar die wil ik posten als de winkel open is.. maar eerst moesten er teksten worden geschreven. Tot zover de studio activiteiten..

^ Want waar ik de afgelopen twee weken vooral druk mee ben geweest; het vrijgezellenfeest en de bruiloft van mijn zusje; huis in orde voor feest, huis in orde ná feest, versieringen voor de feestlocatie; het kopen en vooral maken, outfits van mij, manlief en kindlief finetunen. En dan eindelijk de bruiloft - het bijkomen en weer flink wat op te ruimen van al dat maken en maken.

Foto's zijn van het vrijgezellenfeest. De zonnige dag hebben we omgezet in een gezellige avond in de tuin met lichtjes en dekens.. Het was een geslaagd feest, net als de bruiloft overigens!

Shame on me! It's been quiet for to long.. most of the product pictures are taken, and the inspiration is there - whirling in my head. I will post them when the shop is filled.. First, I had some writing for the shop on my mind. So far for the studio activities..

^The last two weeks have mostly been filled with everything around my sisters bachelorparty and wedding; cleaning the house before the bachelorparty, and tidy up afterwards, buying an making a lot of partydecorations, finetuning our outfits. And finally the day of the wedding itself - and the recovering of this all.   And at the end: tidy up and cleaning after all of the making and making..

Pictures are taken at the bachelorparty. We traded a lovely sunny day for a night with a lot of lights and blankets. Both of the feasts where fantastic and filled smiling faces!
